The Generation “G” High School Youth Group
is a faith based opportunity for young adults in the 9th through 12th grade to come together for fellowship, bible study, and friendship. The group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm.
The goal of Youth group is to provide the youth of today with a more clear understanding of scripture and how they can apply what they learn to their everyday lives. Bible studies usually run for three to four weeks and can cover such subjects such as prayer, friendships, dating, cliques, anger, and others based upon need. In addition to studying scripture, the group also becomes involved in projects that teach them how to apply their faith. Some examples of these projects are serving a community meal, ringing bells for Salvation Army, volunteering service to Habitat for Humanity, volunteering service for mission outreach (Appalachia Service Project)
The Generation “G” group is also about just hanging out and having fun. There are game nights, movie nights, and opportunities to attend Christian concerts and retreats.
All high school youth are welcome. You need not be a member of Grace Church to attend.
